Wylie's Baptism taken by Beth Osterkamp; Gown by Carole Patrick. Great work Grandma's!
She started out as our little Peanut, and now she's our Snuggle Bunny, AND a big sister! Wylie welcomed her new baby sister on December 18th, 2010, miss Lyla Jo.

Reading & Ropin'
I happened to walk in after a nap and this is how I found Wylie:
what a smart kid!
Joe and Wylie in her new playpen with her rubber cow!

Attempted Photoshoot (February)
So, my mother-in-law is an awesome photographer and usually does Wylie's pics, but I had the urge to try myself one day and this is what I got...
and that's a wrap!

Let it Snow! (Back in January, well, February and March too!)
So we've had LOTS of snow this winter and Wylie saw most of it through the window until I got her all bundled up and attempted to make a snow angel! She wasn't really into it though...maybe next year!
One of the snow storms was so bad our power went out at 7am and was out all day. I watched the temperature in the house fall a degree an hour. Joe, being the good Daddy that he is, wanted us to go to town and stay with a friend if it didn't come back on by 4. So it didn't, and we got all packed up and into the truck - at this point there was at least a foot of snow on the ground and it was still coming down hard. We got to the back side of the dairy and there was a car stuck blocking the road. So I freaked out a little and told Joe to turn around and that I didn't want to go anymore!! So we got all unpacked out of the truck and back inside. Thankfully it was the right decision, the power came back on a little bit later!
