Welcome home Wylie!

We've already been having a great time with Wylie! Well, the first night home was a little rough, but the second day has gone very well. We're already working on a good schedule, so I'll let y'all know how that goes tomorrow! She's such a good baby...looks a lot like her daddy right now.

Who, let's not forget, always has something witty to say...

Today I told Wylie, "we're doing so good (nursing)" and Joe says, "I produced 164 thousand pounds of milk today, how much did you do?"

And my favorite...the apple doesn't fall far from the tree...

Last night Jerry, Beth and Nick came by to see Wylie and I was asking Jerry if he remembered how long their kids were because Wylie is 22 and that's definitely not a Patrick trait! Jerry's response: "22 - that's legal Halibut size." Oh how we love our fishermen and dairymen!

From the moment they placed her on my tummy, I couldn't believe what a joyous and amazing experience it has been to have gotten to that moment! I feel like I am walking on clouds and somehow have all the energy in the world. I am quite a bit sleep deprived, but it doesn't matter. I'd stay awake for her forever! You really don't know how much love you have in you until you have a beautiful child with someone you love. It's an unbelievable feeling and I'm so thankful for Joe and our sweet healthy little girl!
